Going to see the Dentist
It's fun here
After Lil'B turned 3 our pediatrician advised us to take him to the dentist for first check up. Not until he turned 4 we decided to take him. A week before we went, we started telling him about his visit to the dentist, but he told us that he was not ready, apparently we should wait until Easter. We kept reminding him until Saturday. When we entered inside, we were greeted with lots of toys, immediately he gave us a smile, and I could tell he was happy to be there. I'm already aware of the great customer service in the States, but I was overly impressed by this particular dental. On the upper wall was a small tv with kids shows, the moment Lil'l B seated in his chair, the Dental Hygienist asked his name, if he ever visited a dentist, what school he's attending, and his favorite things to do. Then she started explaining what they do at the dental office, explained all the little tools, and even asked him to touch, and feel them. When she was busy using the tools, she was still explaining everything to him. He even asked Lil'B if he wanted to wear the sunglasses to prevent the light going directly to his eyes.
By the time the Dr. came in they were overly impressed. The Dr. told us that this is the first time they had a brave 4 years old in their office. Now he's asking us for the next visit.
